Air battle over Kongsnæs

The crows are here every morning now, they come in a flock, have breakfast on the gulving lawn across the pond. After that they take some rest, one or two flying around to guard the colony.
Usually, after some hours, they have taken off to somewhere far beyond viewing range. Usually then flocks of seagulls come in. Those were missing the last couple of days, and only driven to and from Nykøbing yesterday explained us why. The acres are sown again for winter crop, and for every 10 seeds there must be at least one seagull on the fields. There are many moments I am very sorry not to my videocam at hand, and just was one of those. Acouple of crows were around still, and a group of seagulls got tired of their grain diet it seems. A real air battle developed. And though the crows were stronger fighters, the group of seagulls just was too large. One crow dropped himself in the woods, another took some efforts still but then flew off to safer places.
Or so it seemed. From the direction he went, now one by one the crows are dropping in, assembling on the treetops at breakfast lawn.
The war has not finished yet, for the seagulls regather and get some fortifications too. Brunchtime for the crows now, but the gulls come nearer each time. And there it starts again, like Junckers against Spitfires. Very elegant moves, both sides clearly aggressive..
Meanwhile three ducks tried to land in the pond. The coots cried over intruders in Paradise. This time they managed, the water battle was won.
That was unlike last Tuesday, when the disagreement could be heard over an hour.. Who claimed that the countryside was peaceful?
The group of gulls has been dispersed now, an occasional spider efffectivly chased from breakfast hills.
Would I get enough rest to read a full page now?
